SeaBright Now Offers Four Ways to Report A Claim:
Welcome to BrightNotice® Claim Reporting
SeaBright understands that our policyholders value
ease and flexibility when it comes to the prompt
reporting of workplace accidents. That's why we
offer a variety of convenient reporting options,
all geared towards getting vital accident information
to our claims examiners quickly so that we can begin
investigating and managing the claim as soon as
possible. And, as studies have shown, workers' compensation
claims that are reported promptly are less likely
to be litigated and are resolved at lower cost (to

Internet Claim Reporting
For our customers who prefer an Internet-based
solution, we offer an online accident reporting
facility. To log on, a SeaBright policyholder
will need a unique User I.D. and Password, which
can be requested by clicking
here. With an ID and password,
our customers can access the facility by clicking
the bar labeled "Report a Claim" at
the top of this page. After logging on, the policyholder
will be asked to supply basic accident/injury
information. When all mandatory fields are completed,
the information is sent directly to the nearest
SeaBright claim office. The person reporting the
accident will be contacted by a SeaBright claims
professional within one business day. |

24/7 Telephonic Claim Reporting
Customers who prefer to report by telephone can
report a claim anytime by dialing 1-866-FOR-SBIC
(1-866-367-7242). A trained service representative
will lead the caller through the accident reporting
process, capturing key information along the way.
When finished, we'll provide contact information
for the SeaBright claim office that will be receiving
the report.
For both telephonic and internet reporting, the
reported information is immediately sent electronically
to the servicing claim office, where it is assigned
to a member of our claim staff for investigation.
A copy of the information is printed on an approved
accident reporting form and filed as required
with the appropriate state or federal agency.
BrightNotice will also send up to two copies of
the accident report to other parties, at the policyholder's
request. |
