John Pasqualetto, Chairman and CEOIn addition to serving as chairman of the board and CEO of SeaBright Insurance Company, John Pasqualetto is president, CEO, and chairman of our parent company, SeaBright Holdings, Inc. Prior to SeaBright, John was the president and CEO of Eagle Insurance Companies, president of Kemper Employers Group, and senior vice president of the Kemper insurance companies - positions he held concurrently from the time he joined Kemper in 1998. Earlier leadership roles include president of American International Group's (AIG) workers' compensation specialty group; co-founder of Great States Insurance Company, a California-based specialty workers' compensation company; and executive positions with Argonaut Insurance Company and the State Compensation Insurance Fund of California.
John holds a B.A. from California State University at Northridge.
Richard Gergasko (FCAS, MAAA), President and COOIn addition to serving as president and COO of SeaBright Insurance Company, Rich Gergasko is COO of our parent company, SeaBright Holdings, Inc. For both companies, he is responsible for all operations other than finance, legal, human resources, and information technology. Prior to SeaBright, Rich served as executive vice president at Eagle Insurance Companies, originally charged with leading underwriting and research and development. He has also held a number of positions elsewhere in the insurance industry, including underwriting vice president of American International Group's (AIG) workers' compensation specialty group, and various actuarial positions at Crum and Forster, William M. Mercer, Inc., and MBA, Inc.
Rich is both a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a B.A. in statistics from Rutgers College.
Neal A. Fuller, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Assistant SecretaryNeal Fuller supports SeaBright Insurance Company as CFO of our parent company, SeaBright Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining SeaBright, he held senior management positions in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years, most recently as senior vice president and CFO for ICW Group, a San Diego-based, privately-held insurance company that writes workers' compensation, auto, earthquake, and surety insurance. From 2000 to 2009, Neal served in executive leadership positions for Safeco Corporation, including treasurer and senior vice president of Finance. From 1991 to 2000, he held financial leadership positions with Safeco Asset Management and Safeco Mutual Funds.

Richard Seelinger, Senior Vice President of Policyholder ServicesIn his role as senior vice president of Policyholder Services, Rich Seelinger has technical and administrative responsibility for all our claims-handling and loss control operations. Rich served in the same capacity with the Eagle Insurance Companies, which he joined in 2000. After launching his insurance career in 1985, he held a series of key positions with the Kemper Insurance Companies, including director of Corporate Planning and Research and workers' compensation claims officer.
Rich holds a B.A. in history from Western Illinois University.
Jeff Wanamaker (CPCU, ARe), Senior Vice President of UnderwritingJeff Wanamaker is responsible for setting the underwriting direction for SeaBright Insurance Company, including pricing strategy and coverage decisions. He held the same role at Eagle Insurance Companies, which he joined in 1999. In the 10 years prior to Eagle, Jeff worked for Alaska National Insurance Company, where he underwrote most commercial lines, ultimately specializing in accounts with State Act workers' compensation, USL&H, and maritime employment exposures.
Jeff earned a B.B.A in both finance and economics from the University of Alaska. He also holds professional designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe).
Marc Miller, M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Medical OfficerAs senior vice president and chief medical officer of our parent company, SeaBright Holdings, Inc., Dr. Marc Miller is responsible for the development and implementation of managed care strategies and programs that enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of the medical care received by claimants. Prior to SeaBright, Marc served as medical director for several public and private organizations, including Orange County Medical Services for the Indigent, MedLink Health Care Networks, and FHP, Inc. He was also a medical center administrator for Talbert Medical Management Corporation and CEO of ConflictSolvers, an online provider of health care dispute resolution services.
Marc is a fellow of the American College of Physician Executives and the American College of Preventative Medicine. He holds an M.D. from Rush University, an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University, and a B.A. from Stanford University.
Drue Wax, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate SecretaryAs general counsel for our parent company, SeaBright Holdings, Inc., Drue Wax advises SeaBright Insurance Company on corporate governance, regulatory and legislative issues, compliance, contract law, and litigation management. Prior to SeaBright, she served as senior counsel in the corporate legal department of the Kemper Insurance Companies and worked for the law firms of Sidley & Austin and Davidson, Goldstein, Mandell & Menkes.
Drue holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
Kristi Marchbanks, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing OfficerAs CMO, Kristi Marchbanks supports all the subsidiaries of our parent company SeaBright Holdings, Inc., including our insurance business. She came to SeaBright with over 20 years of general management experience, with a focus on managing and developing growth businesses. In her three years as an executive in Amazon's Corporate Accounts business unit, she was responsible for building the business-to-business division, which included the company's high growth incentives market segment. In the six years prior to Amazon, Kristi served as president and CEO of SeaTab Software, a software-as-a-service business intelligence company, where she was responsible for overseeing business acquisitions, developing strategic objectives, and building executive relationships with key customers and partners. Earlier in her career, she served as vice president of the Consumer Imaging division of Eastman Kodak Company, where she had P&L responsibility for $2 billion in annual revenues. She also worked at IBM in sales, marketing, consulting, research and development, and worldwide manufacturing roles.
Kristi holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in business administration from the University of Washington.
Christopher Desautel, Senior Vice President and Chief Information OfficerAs CIO, Christopher Desautel supports all the subsidiaries of our parent company SeaBright Holdings, Inc., including our insurance business. He joined SeaBright in December of 2009 to head the information technology group and establish and implement the company's IT strategy. Prior to SeaBright, he served as vice president of information technology for Safeco, where he oversaw the company's business intelligence, surety, sales and marketing, finance, and enterprise applications. Among other accomplishments, he delivered innovative portal technologies for the launch of Safeco.com and drove annual savings of $1 million by implementing a new support and delivery model for the company's back-office systems. He also led the development and execution of the IT shared services integration plan for the merger of Safeco and Liberty Mutual. Prior to Safeco, Christopher worked at Delphi Corporation, where he held several positions, most recently as a global IT executive in charge of information technology across three global divisions and the South American region. He also led the global requirements management process and the delivery of IT programs for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Earlier in his career, he worked as a business and IT consultant with both Deloitte Consulting and Andersen Consulting.
Christopher holds a B.S. in engineering, with a concentration in operations management, from Michigan State University.
Timothy S. Wood, National Sales DirectorAs National Sales Director, Tim Wood supports all the subsidiaries of our parent company, SeaBright Holdings, Inc., including our insurance business. He came to SeaBright in 2010 following seven years at AIG in a number of roles. Most recently, he served as AIG's vice president of business development for the Private Client Group, where he was responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing alternative distribution methods for high net worth clients and prospective clients here and abroad. Prior to that, he served as vice president of sales for Unitrin Specialty Lines Division, where he managed the Field Sales, Customer Service, and Licensing staffs; and as senior sales manager for Progressive Insurance, where he re-launched the company's personal auto insurance program in California and managed a territory of more than 700 brokers. He has also worked as a licensed insurance broker in his own business and as a marketing representative for Safeco Insurance.
Tim holds a J.D. from Western State University College of Law and a B.A. in economics from the University of California at Irvine. He is a Certified Consultative Sales Person (CSP) trainer for Wilson Learning, a board member of the market research firm Adept Consumer Testing, and a member of Direct Marketing Association's Ethics Operating Committee.
Gene Gerrard, Assistant Vice President of Human ResourcesAs head of our corporate Human Resources department, Gene Gerrard develops HR programs, services, and policies for all the subsidiaries of our parent company SeaBright Holdings, Inc., including our insurance business. He came to SeaBright in 2006 after more than 15 years running human resources groups in several Northwest companies. He has also served as a vice president at Drake Beam Morin, Inc., a worldwide provider of human resources services for recruitment, training, organization development, and change management, where he helped increase the company's market share and expand its territory.
Gene earned his B.A. from Gonzaga University and has done graduate work in business administration at Eastern Washington University.
